Hawk Talk Parent Update - 2/13/26

Happy Friday the 13th!

Today our students enjoyed an early Valentine’s Day celebration by passing out cards in their classrooms. It was wonderful to see so many smiles!A big thank you to all of our parent volunteers who helped in PE this week during the Kids Heart Challenge. We also appreciate our PTO for organizing the coffee and snack cart that delivered drinks and treats directly to teachers’ classrooms, such a thoughtful gesture that was much appreciated!Just a reminder that there will be no school next Monday in observance of Presidents’ Day. We hope everyone enjoys the three-day weekend and has a very Happy Valentine’s Day!

Cold Weather Reminder
As the temperatures drop, please make sure your child comes to school dressed for the weather. Warm coats, hats, gloves, and boots help keep everyone comfortable during outdoor play and recess. For our younger students, boots that slip on or have velcro straps make transitions in and out of winter gear much smoother. Practicing putting on and taking off winter clothes at home is also very helpful and appreciated! Finally, please remember to label all clothing items with your child’s first and last name to help us return any misplaced items quickly.
