Kindergarten Tour and Ice Cream Social

Dear Incoming Kindergarten parents, 

Sending your little one to kindergarten is always an exciting time, if it’s your first to leave the nest or your 5th, it’s always a bittersweet moment.  We want both parents and children to feel good about joining us for kindergarten and to help answer all of your questions we have a kindergarten preview tour scheduled for August 11th.

Students in Mrs. Hillquist’s AM class will come at 4:00 p.m.

Students in Mrs. Hillquist’s PM and Mrs. Heniff’s PM class will join us at 5:00 pm. 

Parents will begin by joining us with their children in the gym for introductions.  Children will then go with the kindergarten teacher to the classroom while parents stay for additional logistical information.  Parents will rejoin their child in the kindergarten room to see the space and pick up their child. 

You are also invited to the Ice-Cream Social on August 17th at 4:30pm hosted by the PTO.  

If you have not turned in your medical information prior to this date, please bring it to the event.  Children must have their physical and vaccination records turned in prior to the first day of school.  

​​​​​​​Remember that this year, we are offering a full day program with half the day in kindergarten and the other half in enrichment.  If you do not want your child to attend for the full day, make sure you notify us in the office.
