RUNNING CLUB UPDATE!
Due to the number of students who are now signed up for the running club, we will not be accepting any more permission slips at this time. Please email one of us if your child will not be able to participate this fall, but wants to be involved. We will try our best to reserve the student a spot for our spring running season. For parents who signed up their children: you should have gotten an email last night for more details. Running club begins Monday, September 27th!
Thank you!

NEW BULLDOG ALUMNI SITE
A Note From the PTO:
Be sure you check your child’s take home folder for information regarding this year’s Hawk Walk! Any questions can be directed to our Fundraising team at hwsfundraising@gmail.com
The sign up genius link for Watch Dogs is live and I’ve sent the informational email to my updated list of Watch Dogs. Please feel free to send this out on all the different platforms along with my information in case anyone has questions or needs the initial email.
Box Tops
The Box Tops program has changed over the past couple of years and we need your help to keep making it a successful program for Hoover Wood! Box Tops is no longer a physical clip, it is all digital. Please download the app onto your phone and scan your receipt. Be aware that your receipt cannot be more than 14 days old. Buy. Scan. Earn.
Help us to achieve the HWS goal for this school year! In order for that to happen, we need many more parents to download the app and scan your receipt. It is super easy!

BATAVIA MOTHER’S CLUB COAT DRIVE – OCTOBER 27-OCTOBER 10TH
Please help the less fortunate in our community with donations of new or clean and gently used winter items: coats, snow pants, snow suits, hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and boots in good condition. Items are needed in sizes from infant to adult. Drop off bins in school office.
Student Engagement Through Extracurriculars
BPS101 encourages students to participate in worthwhile student organizations and activities because we consider such participation to be vital to students’ educational welfare. Keep your students engaged through participation in an extracurricular. Check the news wall on our school’s website for more information!
More Incentive to Become a Substitute Teacher
