Congratulations to the HWS students that participated in the Kane County Cougars Reading Club! All students who completed the reading challenge will earn a free ticket to a ballgame, along with a hot dog, drink and a t-shirt. Game dates are Friday, May 13th or Sunday, May 15th. Ticket vouchers were sent home this week with student participants. To receive your free student ticket, as well as to purchase additional tickets, please return the completed voucher form, along with any additional fees, to the LRC no later than April 26th. Checks should be made out to Hoover-Wood School. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Koll @ cheryl.koll@bps101.net Thank you! 5th Grade Cross City Track & Field Meet If your 5th grade student would like to participate in the Cross City Track and Field Meet on Wednesday, May 4th but transportation is an issue please use this form to sign up for bussing that will be running for that event. Today is the last day to sign up for the meet itself. You can use the attachment for that permission slip and information. 5th grade 2022 Parent Permission.pdf PBIS/K-KIDS BENEFIT Upcoming Family Friendly Event May 15th 11a.m.-1p.m. at Eagle Brook Country Club: Brunch benefitting children and families of Ukraine and all of our BPS101 K-Kids, Key Club, Builders Club groups. Local Authors (Theresa Fontana, Donna Fatigato, Bonnie Bomgaurdner, Libby, Lenni, and Pumpkin Head Tom) will be entertaining kids with stories, activities, and great food! There will also be amazing raffle baskets available for auction and free family portraits with April Duda. There are still some items that are on backorder and once those arrive, they will be distributed. Your child might have received only part of their gift and will receive the final part when the next order is delivered.
