K-KIDS SUPPORT UKRAINE Friday March 18th K-Kids and Student Council will be selling Peace Bracelets and Keychains from 8:40-9 in the hallway by the lunchroom. All proceeds will go to the Children of Ukraine Foundation. HEART CHALLENGE Did you know that by completing Finn’s Mission on your KHC webpage or app you can learn how to be a REAL-LIFE LIFESAVER?! Our school has set a goal to have 25 new lifesavers before our Kids Heart Challenge completes and we have a little bit of time! Can you help us get to this goal!? Once you complete you get to bring home this Special Edition Finn Life Saver Keychain to sport proudly as your lifesaver badge of honor! A NOTE FROM THE PTO: Tonight is Skate Night at Funway! Please pay at the rink, $5 per child. Hope to see you there! We are happy to announce that the HWS Family Read will be back this year! Family Read is a HWS event where the same book is provided by the school to each HWS family and the family reads together. There will be optional activities to go along with the book and each week reading logs can be turned in. Prizes will be given at the end for those students who participate in Family Read. We are looking for a few volunteers to help us identify and coordinate student activities. If you are interested in helping, please contact Lisa Castillo (Ldellefave@yahoo.com). (We are on a short timeline as Family Read launches post-spring break; this will also pair nicely with Cougar Reading Club to help obtain weekly minutes).
